eShakti Review
So, the cornerstone of this preppy little ensemble is this beautiful navy blue high waisted skirt. It is a gift from my sponsor, eShakti. The original was below the knee in length. So, I simply selected the size 4, but clicked the adjustment for an above the knee cut. eShakti also asks you for your height measurement, as a matter of course. So, it is no surprise that the skirt not only fits me perfectly (given the accurate measurements in their sizing chart), but it also hits me squarely above the knee.
The material is sturdy and I like the subtle textured patterns on the skirt. It feels like it was built to last and that's something that I've encountered consistently with eShakti. The first dress I had bought from them so many years ago, still looks amazing and fits like a glove. The high waisted palazzo pants that they had gifted to me, last year, remain in pristine condition and I've worn them many times, already.

I decided grey and brown would probably be the best way to highlight the skirt without being too distracting. So, I dusted off the old typewriter tee (which I absolutely love and don't wear as often as I should---story of my life) and I added the super cute cats with umbrellas socks. It's always a good time for cats with umbrellas. Always. Hehe. Then, I classed things up a bit with the wingtip oxfords and added the bright yellow cardigan for a bit more color contrast. Oh and then there's the curly mohawk. :D
I'm not really sure how the curly mohawk fits into things, really. Haha. I just knew it was non-negotiable. So, yeah. Hope you like the outfit! I'm looking forward to doing some darker ensembles, next week! :D
