After months of bleak weather, short days and long bitterly cold nights, I was just ecstatic to wake up to sunshine on my eyelids. Normally, this would annoy me and I'd pull the sheets over my head and grumble.
Not today, though. Not today.
I found it rather kind of the sun to provide some much needed illumination for my journey. I just went to the post office and then to the bank. Afterwards, I had a delicious sandwich, warm soup and "booze" coffee. Hehe.
There's a particular coffee shop in which I just love to waste my days. While there, I can have a frothy stout or a crisp white wine, if I so choose. They also have specialty coffees loaded with sweet alcohol. As you know, there's nothing better on a cold, bitter day than, say, an Irish coffee. :D
