Wtf?! o_O O_o Yeah. I know. Scared you, didn't I? I felt like doing a 180 to finish off November. >:D
I tried my best not to look like I was freezing, but yeah. I was freezing my balls off. >_< The weather has been so fickle, lately. I think it was 40 degrees or something like that and the wind was out of control.
There was much suffering. Heh. I even wore thermals, but it was like I was wearing nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all. T_T Look at it! It's just rippling through all the fabrics. I hate you wind!
OK, enough complaining. Haha. So, I'd been itching to wear the leggings since receiving them this past summer. I just love looking at them. The colors are perfect. <3 My partner just surprised me with them. Yeah. For no reason! Hehe. He just thought I would like them and he was right. He knows me well.
I wanted the leggings to be the centerpiece of the outfit, so I did the most logical thing: I enveloped them in darkness. The black fabrics really made the colors pop and glow. :D I'm wearing only two pieces on top. There's the asymmetrical cardigan that I just folded over my shoulder and then a black high low top. The cardigan is short in the back, so the high low top adds much needed length and also creates some interesting effects when caught in the wind. So, there are a lot of subtle shapes, textures and pieces of fabric that I think make the outfit interesting, despite the homogeneous color scheme.
Then, I topped everything off with some chunky boots and an understated, but clean black coat, because it was cold as hell. Did I mention how cold it was? I'm pretty sure I might have had one or two words on the subject....Hehe. ;) And yeah, there you have it: my slightly scary end of November outfit!
