I wanted to finish the month with something bright, so I took another stab at red monochrome. :P I tried to keep the outfit from looking one dimensional color wise, by using different shades of red and then I added the high waisted coral shorts as an equalizer to balance the look and define boundaries.
It was a whopping 50 degrees the day these photos were taken. o_O I really didn't even need the coat or scarf during the day. However, I was glad that I brought them when night fell. My partner and I spent pretty much the entire evening in a coffee shop pouring over statistics for costs of living in various countries. I've always said that my goal is to live and work abroad, but I hadn't realized just how expensive such an endeavor would be until now. >_< I really hope that we can make it work. <3
When we got back home, my partner looked at my standing closet and asked me what I would do with my clothes, if and when we moved overseas. I chuckled and told him that it was obvious that I'd have to get rid of most of it. I have so many pieces that hold such great memories for me. It will be hard to let go of many things in my wardrobe, for sure. Still, it would be a small price to pay for an epic adventure! :D
