I took a little detour on my way to a pub and here is the result. I really like how this particular photo turned out. It has such an old, vintage look to it, doesn't it? The bright blue "watermark" was completely unintentional, but I think it just adds to the photo's overall vintage feel. It looks like I was on my way to some secretarial job and became distracted by a cat ruefully meowing in a tree. =)
Today, I endeavored to only use earth tones. It was a fun challenge and I ended up using pretty much all of ones I could think of. Colors in an earth tone scheme should be subdued such that they emulate the range of hues found in soil, moss, bark and rocks. So, I've got the taupe belt (a variation of soil), the evergreen cardigan and floral tunic (encompassing the color schemes found in a forest or garden), the navy blue skirt (a similar hue to that of the lead plant which thrives in the Fall), the plum tights (some bright red leaves turn to a dark wine red color such as this over time), the tawny satchel and the caramel boots (the colors of soil, bark and dying grass).
âNice cool, muted colors. The last thing you need in a revolt is some renegade trying to be a hero. ;P
