Here's something a little out of the ordinary and weird, because why not, really. Heh. I told my partner that it was business on top and country on the bottom and he laughed. :3 I've always been fond of doing feminine and masculine mashups. I had been toying with the idea of mixing these floral patterns together for awhile. I started with a floral high low dress and then I wore a floral high low skirt over it, but turned it backwards. I wanted the different floral fabrics and the cascading shapes behind me. ;)
Originally, my plan was to wear a sleeveless black lace floral top tucked into the skirt. It would have been perfectly fine. I was contemplating something edgy and dark, initially. As I was getting dressed, the whole thing looked kind of boring to me, though. I dunno. It just wasn't exciting enough. So, I started playing around with the idea of wearing a vest and I tried three different ones, until I settled on this one.
Still, I felt like I needed to wear a shirt or something underneath the vest and then a bow tie found its way into the mix and yeah. It was all very improvisational, really. It's fun, though. I like it! *^__^*
