Probably can't tell from the photos, because I refused to be intimidated, but as we were taking photos on the sidewalk, a man in the house directly to my left (right in the photo) came out of his front door with his dog and sat there with his dog barking at us for the longest time before going back inside.
It was the strangest thing. My partner and I both ignored him, but I couldn't help wondering if we had suddenly been transported to the deep south. Was he going to sic his dog on us, because he didn't like the cut of our jib? Lqtm. As people walked by, I could hear them greeting each other by name. Obviously, it was a neighborhood that was close knit, affluent. Seemed like everyone knew each other. No one said 'hi' to us. It was all very disconcerting. Sometimes, I just don't know about this town...
Where are all of the nice people? Can someone just tell me where to find them, because I think I'd like to spend some time with them, if that's OK. Heh. :/ At any rate, Thanksgiving is normally in October in Canada. I'm having a hard time accepting this for various reasons...Haha. So, we had what one of our dear Canadian friends called a "Yanksgiving," last week. We made lots of food, invited friends over to play drinking games and gave my partner's website, startrekdrinkinggame.com a try. Yes, a good time was had by all! Hehe. I hope those of you based in the U.S. had a very pleasant holiday weekend! <3
