Gaaaaahhh. >_< I finally did it. I wore my yellow tights and I didn't cover them up. You have no idea how weird I felt walking around with these jaundiced legs. For some reason, I just adore seeing my fellow bloggers style yellow tights, but I can't seem to get comfortable with the idea of wearing them myself. I felt a lot like Santa's Helper in this getup. Bah! Haha. Still, I enjoyed wearing these colors.

Orange, green and yellow are so pleasing to the eye. Well, for me, at least. I guess these colors are more closely associated with Fall or Spring. However, I like to wear bright (perhaps even unseasonal) colors in the Winter. What would be "seasonal" Winter colors, anyway? Brown, black, grey? Haha.

That's mostly what I tend to see this time of year. I guess red and green would be good ones to choose since those are XMAS related, but I didn't want to be literal and end up looking tacky. Instead, I just chose several of my favorite colors and put them together in a way that was both feminine and charmingly vintage. I wanted to be playful and whimsical, but still maintain a semblance of maturity.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I let this slip awhile back, but I've been on a spending freeze since January of this year. Hence, this outfit is completely remixed. I last wore the high waisted corduroy shorts and orange eyelet sweater back in April and I last wore the knee high brown lace up boots here. (^_^)v

The only new thing I've got on me is this multi-color iPhone case from my sponsor, Oasap. I picked it up for $3.90 and then it went on sale for $1.59. Story of my life. Heh. Anyway, it ended up selling out, but they have very similar cases like this one still available. This is my second phone case. :D I know, I'm a goober. You guys probably have like half a dozen or something. Heh. I'm always the last one to the party. I got my first iPhone case back in February of this year. You can see that one here.

I did absolutely nothing of real importance the day these photos were taken. Haha. I went to the post office to drop off several packages. A couple of them were deliveries for some wonderful ladies in my clothing swap group and the others were sales from my on-line shops. After that, my partner and I spent about three hours dicking around at a coffee shop and then we played a bunch of video games back at home base. My life is so, so boring, you guys. I'm sorry. Haha. >_< It consists mainly of alcoholic beverages, high calorie foods, caffeine, occasional blogging and video games. *shrug* :3 <3

Hehe. I never know, either! So, I share in that excitement, too. :D Ah, the coat. I feel like it didn't get enough wear last year, so I'm trying to wear it a lot this time around. I might be wearing it too often? Haha. I have a green cape coat. Maybe I'll try to alternate more. :3

I love the yellow tights on you! But I always feel your fear, I've always wanted a pair of red tights but am too afraid to go for it. And ugh, it's the worst when you buy something, and then right after it goes on sale!

Your life is basically my life! Someday we can be boring together, it would make me so happy :D
Love the yellow tights my dear, you may feel weird and I get why. Like the time I first when full boobs naked on a beach...felt kind of awkward, but then I got used to it and it felt pretty awesoomee! Okay, maybe not the best example, my point is, if you wear them often enough, you'd start to feel comfy and not even notice them.

Hahaha.. yeah. :D <3 You know, I actually have a full boobs naked moment, also. So, I can totally relate to that example. Hehe. It wasn't on a beach, though. It was in a hot spring in Japan with a bunch of naked, old Japanese ladies. So...heh. Yeah. Anyway, I plan to do more traveling in the very near future. I bet we'll be hanging out, drinking beer and playing video games sooner than you expect. :D

About yellow tights, I feel the same, I bought them last year and are still in the drawer, I have not worn them yet. Your outfit is perfect with them, I love that color combo :-)

I am now truly envious of your closet. Spending freeze since January?? How do you have the will power?

I've tried and failed doing this a few times, but was thinking of doing this for a few months next year to try to challenge myself stylistically and maybe sort through a few things.
