Happy New Year, you guys! :DDD We made it! Woohoo! <3 I have to say that my biggest goal, this year, is to not be as poor as I was, last year. >_< Hehe. As you may or may not know, I decided to switch careers and move in a new direction. Hence, the whole cash flow situation hasn't been all that great. Hehe. Things started to pick up late, last year. So, I'm optimistic about what's in store for 2016!
Since I have money on my mind, that has had a bit of an influence on my outfit. ;) Actually, I think that I've got a little bit of a gangster vibe going on, but a really cute gangster? Haha. As you can see, I did a subtle mix in prints with the green plaid skirt and vintage green tartan blazer. I toyed with a mix of tartan and plaid, last year, but I used two different colors. This time, I wanted to do something more monochromatic. I know that the colors don't particularly match up, but that doesn't really bother me. :P
I didn't want to go overboard with the green/blue color scheme, so I tempered the outfit with a mix of black, grey and white. The grey/white sheep sweater provided a nice contrast of color and I think it kept the plaid/tartan mix from being too overwhelming by separating the two patterns and drawing the eye.
I hope you like this cute little vintage ensemble. I had a lot of fun wearing it! <3 ^_^ <3
