Floral crown? What?! Yeah, man. This JUST happened. Well, actually this happened last week. Haha. I wore this outfit to brunch and then my partner and I went for a bike ride. I posted a photo of me with my bike on Instagram and the outfit was so well received that I decided to take better photos of it and put them up on the old blog. So, here you go! Also, in my defense, the floral crown was free. :D
I think these almond sandal flats went well with the outfit, too. I couldn't really think of any other color that would compliment the pale yellow, green and pastel florals. For casual sandals, these shoes look so smart/sophisticated. They're also super comfy and easy to bike in. I'm really happy with them.
Here's a nice closeup of the colors in my dress and the actual color of my shorts. You can even make out the belt loops at the sides of the dress. Haha. This outfit may be a bit jerry-rigged, but I'm cool with it. When I look at my closet, I see a range of possibilities. I refuse to wear clothing in a singular way.
Earlier I mentioned that I got the floral crown for free. I used my Chic Points on Chictopia to purchase it. I never thought I would wear flowers in my hair. I had just resigned myself to live vicariously through other bloggers who did that sort of thing. Haha. I think I look like a goof ball, but some part of me just felt like the outfit could use some extra sweetness (as if it isn't cloying enough already haha). <3
Oh and that's just my pet octopus, Jerry. He likes to hang out and what not. ^___^
