You probably can't tell that I'm wearing two dresses here. ;P Why would I wear two dresses, but only allow people to see one of them? Well, first, I really need that sweet collar. I couldn't find any sleeveless blouses with the kind of collar that I wanted. My apple dress has the perfect collar, however. So, I just slipped it on underneath. There was about an inch of apple print showing at the hem and I debated whether to keep it there. It looked nice, but overall I felt that it would be too distracting. So, I tucked the bottom half of the apple dress into some flowy shorts. :D Second, it's getting chilly out there, you guys. The more layers I could muster, the better. Hehe. So, I was glad for that hidden layer of fabric.
I think that green and yellow are a classic Fall color pairing. <3 As you can see, I practically blended in with my surroundings. Haha. :P The mustard cardigan is super cozy and the material of the green dress is quite soft. So, the outfit ended up being a nice, colorful and comfortable way to celebrate the Fall season while running around town. My partner and I went out for drinks and snacks after these photos were taken. Then, we spent the rest of the evening watching The Martian. It was rad!
I love these brown wingtip oxfords a lot. They go with everything and they're the only shoes I have in this particular color. I don't know why I have so few shoes. Haha. Anyway, I'm glad to have these. Also, I couldn't resist adding the fox socks. They're one of my favorites and I thought it would be nice to break up the bold color blocking with some, albeit subtle, patterns. The little splash of orange was nice, too. ;)
