Dancin' all over Winter's face and it feels good. >;D I had a hankerin' for something retro. I already had the hair style. Hehe. I just needed an outfit to match. So, I grabbed this awesome diamond patterned vintage retro sweater and paired it with a pupil shatteringly bright fuchsia coat and voila! <3 <3 <3
Essentially, I tried to have my cake and eat it, too. By that, I mean that I gave in to the desire to wear dark colors, but I tried to make up for that display of weakness by adding as many bright colors as I could. Also a perfect excuse to wear the zippered and studded blue bag, which hasn't been used in quite some time. I'm picky about how I wear it. >_< I thought I'd regret wearing the high waisted black shorts and ripped polka dot tights, but the weather was quite mild for the first week of December.
Oh and I should mention that those aren't factory rips in the tights. I...kinda...did...that. You see, what happened was, when I put the tights on, I discovered a gnarly rip that started at the left thigh and went all the way down to my ankle. The rest of the tights was fine. I was beyond annoyed. I wondered about what I should do and then I took a pair of scissors and cut random holes into it. Then I went at it with a cheese grater. Haha. After that, I went from looking like I had an unfortunate accident to looking like a trendy fashionista. Thank goodness for the whole 'ripped tights are super edgy' thing. Hehe. ;)
I hope you enjoyed this colorful, quirky, retro ensemble! Happy Tuesday! <3 <3 <3
