Going where no fashionista has gone before: houndstooth and galaxy print. This is probably due to the fact that some fashion guru strongly believes that these two things should never go together. So, I put them together. Yaaaaaay! :DDD Haha. I have to say, it takes balls. A lot of balls. I have big balls?
Nothing about this outfit is for the faint at heart. Sometimes, I just have to do crazy sh*t like this. It's cathartic. I have to be pretty buttoned up all week. I can't be too creative with my outfits at work. I like to tell stories with my outfits and, unfortunately, I can only do that on my days off. Now, to be honest, I'm not really sure what the story is for this (let's face it) man-repellent outfit. If anything, I think the outfit just says something about me personally: I give no f*cks and looks can literally kill, so back off. Heh.
Oh. Oh. Speaking of killing people. Hehe. The crosshair sunglasses are so wicked. I am incapable of wearing them casually. Haha. I simply don't know how. So, you'll probably only see me wearing them with f*cked up outfits. *shrug* It's what they deserve, really. They're too good for jeans and a t-shirt.
Also, radness alert: this incredible, vintage houndstooth coat omfg. <3 I got it through my clothing swap group and I thank Zeus every time I see it hung up in my coat closet. It is the single best coat that I own. It fits like a dream. The length is perfect. The buttons are shiny, black marbles. Also, I love how the print looks blurred. It makes you itch to just see it up close. :D I've seen a lot of houndstooth coats and jackets for sale at various on-line shops, but I'm giving this one the Kanye West stamp of approval.
To all the other houndstooth coats out there, I'mma let you finish, but this houndstooth coat is the best coat of all time. All time! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to return to my space ship. o_O <3
Finally, you might recall this galaxy print sweatshirt from this post. Incidentally, that's another f*cked up outfit. Haha. You know, I have another odd one coming up on Thursday, so yeah. If this post is making you feel all crazy pants, I think you should have a big old cup of chamomile tea and try to relax, because it'll only get worse, I'm afraid. Heh. ^_^ Anyway, I really really like this sweatshirt. The only problem is that galaxy print is hard to match with certain colors and prints. So, it's difficult to find lots of interesting (and non-blinding) ways to showcase the pattern. Obviously, I just threw caution to the wind.
Oh and remember when I said that I probably wouldn't need to wear a coat again until Fall? Wellllll, I lied. It got cold, again. >_< When is Winter going to just go away? Damn, girl. Just let it go. Heh.
