It has been awhile since I last wore this studded green cardigan. It's the perfect shade of green and the studs really set it apart from all of the other cardigans I have. Still, I've had some difficulty styling it. You know how picky I am and all that. >_< Anyway, the first time I wore it, I paired it with grey and black. As you can see here, I did pretty much the same thing. Haha. Gah! I know. It's a completely different outfit, though, so there's that. Hehe. I'll try to be a little more imaginative with the cardigan, next time. ;)
I was sad to discover that it had been two years since I had last worn the typewriter tee and the grey pleated skirt. So, I paired them together and I'm glad I did. I think they definitely compliment each other. Of course, I have an affinity for combinations that include different shades of the same hue. ^_^
The studded green cardigan frames the outfit nicely and adds a nice pop of color and texture. The back of the cardigan is plain and I kind of wish that it had more of those pyramid studs. Hehe. So, I just wore my black pyramid stud backpack to get a bit of the same feeling. Also, it helped to accentuate the colorblock effect at the back of the outfit. The bag holds a ton of stuff, too. I use it all the time. <3
I love these faux over-the-knee-sock tights. I wear them every chance I can get and it's starting to show. I've got a gnarly rip on the inside thigh of the left leg. >_< When I had bought the tights, I had the good sense to buy two packs. Still, I have to say, it took at least a couple of years before the rip appeared. They held up surprisingly well. I think I'm just going to let the tights get ripped up to add more of an edge to the outfits I wear with them. >:D You know, I remember when ripped tights were hella frowned upon. It's a good thing that times have changed! Haha. All of my ripped tights are "trendy," now. ;P~
Oh and I'm not wearing any glasses! *Gasp!* Yes, I decided not to hide behind my trusty frames. So, now you can see my doughy, squishy, stupid-looking face. Haha. Enjoy! ;) Have a good weekend! <3
