Oh, hey dudes! What's shakin'? :DDD I had been holed up in the house preparing lessons for this week's classes. I always find it difficult to do anything--I dunno---fun or relaxing, if I have work to do.
My partner knows that I'll work myself to death, so he convinced me to go out for coffee and sweets.
Free coffee and cakes? Say no more, bro! Hehe. So, I kinda just threw this outfit together. The only thing I had in mind when I scoured my closet was that I wanted to wear my new vintage high waisted jeans. I finally have jet black high waisted jeans! I thrifted them for only $9.00! Yesssssssss. <3
Then, I decided I'd do monochromatic grey, again. So, I grabbed the grey winter hat, textured grey sweater and grey coat. I could have tried wearing grey pants, if I had the right color. The pairs that I had were a bit too dark. I don't care about the colors matching, but too much variation can be distracting.
I classed things up with the vintage wingtip tassel loafers and then added a punch of color with the red socks. I'm wondering if I should have gone with a different color or maybe something with a pattern. I've had the socks sitting in my drawers brand new for ages, though! I felt like it was time to stop being afraid of their bright color and just frickin' wear them. >_< So, yeah. I did it. There. Hehe. *^_^*
