Guuuuurrrrrrl, you just made it to the new year! Woo! Haha. That's right. Still alive and kickin'. Celebrate! I wish I could just get on my hover board and do laps around the block. It's too cold, though. I don't want to freeze my face off. :F~ I got a collar for my cat that lets me hear her thoughts. I was all about it until I heard the things she thought about when she believed we were asleep at night. o_O Thank Zeus for 30 day hassle free returns, am I right? I will be extra nice to her, this week. Hehe.
OK. In all seriousness. Get serious. Jet packs. Shouldn't we f*cking have those, already? I mean, come on, bro. Wtf is the hold up? Last year, Russia was all about sending a bunch of sexing geckos into outer space. Priorities. It's 2015! We should be jet packing up and down and all around this bitch. >=|
You know, it'll probably happen when I'm too old to have any fun with the invention. No one is going to want to let this old bag of bones go anywhere near that kind of high powered device. I can't blame them. I would surely die and take at least half a dozen poor souls with me in the process. Fun sh*t like this is supposed to be wasted on the young. I'm still relatively young, so hurry up already. Dammit. >_<
Can you tell that I've had coffee before writing this? ;D Mmm.. Sweet, sweet nectar of heart palpitations, thoughts of defenestration and novel ideas. Fashion! What have we got going on here? Let's see. I'm wearing my super awesome, potentially ugly (but beauty is in the eye of the beholder) vintage floral sweater. <3 Love this sweater, man. I got it from Barter's Closet. A start-up company that sought to help people buy and sell used clothing and give clothing to charity. The company briefly sponsored my blog, but it seems to have disappeared. I hoped that they would succeed, but as I'm sure you all know, it's really, really hard to start a business. =/ I still wish them all the best. The owner is a stand-up guy.
The only other notable piece that I should mention is the cozy oatmeal braided cardigan. I received it from my sponsor, Oasap, and it retails for $44.00. You're probably tired of hearing that, but it's incumbent upon me to tell you when I receive a gifted item. I just feel like I need to do that. Plus, I'm sure Oasap will get tired of me any day now and drop me. So, don't worry. Heh. Already bracing myself.
So, I really, really wanted the cardigan when I first saw it. In the product photos, it looks much longer than it actually is, but I am 5'9". It still covers my behind, but just barely. If you're shorter than me, it will be mid-thigh for you (which is what I had wanted *sigh*). I bought the Size Large thinking/hoping that it would be over-sized. Instead, you can see that it is quite form fitting, though I did stuff a thick, wool sweater underneath it. Hehe. So..yeah. It's warm enough to wear without a coat on a relatively mild winter day. Also, the stand-up collar keeps my non-swan-like neck (more like a chicken neck, I believe) nice and toasty. ^_^ I hope to wear the cardigan often in the Spring. I have lots of ideas in mind. :D
And that's my long-winded, mostly off-topic, first post of the year! Hope you like the outfit! *^_^*
