Nothing satisfies drunk hunger like a good tacosaurus. Am I right? ;D It has all the vital nutrients you need and it pairs well with a Bloody Mary or mimosa. Just sayin'. <3 So...whaddup, guys? Hehe.

I feel like I just got here and now I'm about to leave. I can't believe it's the end of the week, already. Other things that are incredulous at this point in time: (a) the fact that the snow has completely, I said, completely melted. I feel like I have to pinch myself every time I leave the house, just to make sure the brain-in-vat.exe is still running smoothly. Descartes, anyone? Bueller? (b) that it was 60 degrees, last weekend o_O O_o; and (c) that Spring may actually, finally be here...to stay...unlike last year.

I just might actually be pissed that this will the last time that I get to wear this fuchsia coat (or any other coat, for that matter) until Fall. Do you see what you do to me, Gaia? You're making me crazy! >_<

Anyway, I kind of feel like a 50's housewife gone terribly wrong. Aside from the fact that I wouldn't even know where to begin a life of housewifedom, I messed everything up with my taco socks. Good one, Anna. Hehe. Incidentally, I have no regrets. :D Hm? What? Does the simplicity of this outfit, bother me?

Oh, good question. Yes, yes it does! Hehe. Unfortunately, I had to keep it simple. The socks are so awesome sauce that I didn't want to overshadow their deliciousness with lots of colors, layers and patterns. I figured bright, almost neon pink and black/white polka dots would be enough to satiate my irrational need to be complicated. >_< The polka dot dress is vintage, by the way! It's one size too big so the arm holes flare out a bit and the fabric is all faded, but I love it. So, who cares, yeah? :P <3

The dress is spectacular, doesn't seem big at all and you look soooo pretty and girly in it! I laughed out loud at the "housewife gone terribly wrong", haha, spot on observation! :D Haha! Adore the socks and can't believe you guys have Spring there already, I'm jelly!

Oh, I loved the colors fo the socks, taco socks!!! At first I thought the print was dinosaurs :) So sweet! By the way, I studied Descartes :) I think your dress, too big or not, is looovely! I love polka dots! And I have a shorter coat, but similar color and I am so eager to wear it! Now I am studying in another continent for some months, and it will be cold in 2 months (I will stay for 6) and I am eager to wear my coats :) Good that snow has melted, now enjoy Spring! You look super beautiful and also very happy!

These socks are so flippin' fun! I reallllly love your vintage dress, and as much as I love crazy vintage patterns, it's always exciting to find something really wearable like polka dots. Coat weather has long passed here, now I'm trying to squeeze in wearing my favorite light jackets before those are unbearable too :)

Yeah, it's a strange dichotomy. Every year, without fail, I long for Summer. Summer arrives and I long for Fall. Fall arrives and I wish it would just stay forever. Winter comes and I long for Summer. Yadda yadda. Hehe. I would like to have an actual Spring, if Gaia can manage it. I've discovered that I really love wearing coats and hats. :D

Whaaa? Haha. Is that because you don't drink or because you don't drink to excess or because you're just awesome like that? ;D I don't typically get hungover even when I drink a fuck ton. I find that if I have a decent meal and stay hydrated, I wake up feeling fine the next day. :P

Haha I was totally going to comment on how subdued this look was, but you beat me to it! I actually really love it. I always have the need to pile on as many layers/colors as possible too, but sometimes those simple outfits can really shine. And those socks add a whole lot of kick anyway!

PS I cant even allow myself to hope that winter is actually over. I cant wait to pack away my coats ahhh!!

Fabulous conservative meets tacosaurus (crack me up) bubblegum. Yes, this coat must be packed but think of the joy of your spring things.

Hahaha. I would subscribe to that magazine. It would be the one magazine I could read that would make me feel good about myself, really. :P Ah, you're right. I have tons of Spring/Summer stuff I'm itching to wear. I guess when you've been wearing coats and hats for so long, it starts to feel like the new normal. It'll take some adjustment is all. :3
