It has been about two years since I've worn a mostly grey outfit and I think I did a much better job this time, as the only non-gray colour in the outfit is represented by the black cap toe oxfords. If I had worn grey shoes, I would have created a 100% monochrome look. That would have been pretty sweet. Hehe. I'll get there, at some point, maybe. Come to think of it, I don't have a single pair of grey shoes...
So, yeah. Maybe that's the place to start? Haha. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with how the outfit turned out. I enjoyed wearing it and, judging from the reactions I got from most people, they were intrigued by it, too. Hehe. Lots of stares. Always lots of stares. >_< Oh and I'm not sure why the pleated skirt looks lighter grey in the close-up photo above. I find my camera does weird things when I take photos right at sunset or just after. Incidentally, I wish that the skirt actually had that lighter color, because it blends in with everything quite nicely. Hehe. Still, even with the true colour, I don't think the disparity is off-putting.
The evening these photos were taken, I had convinced my partner to go for a walk to get coffee with me. I just felt really cooped up from all the studying I had been doing and I just wanted a chance to be outside and talk about or think about something other than Canadian law. Heh. It was time well spent!
