Here's another black/grey monochromatic look, but edgier. >:D I was kind of worried about not taking my own advice about waiting a sufficient amount of time before re-wearing certain pieces. It really wasn't that long ago that I wore the grey tank dress and the black asymmetrical cardigan.
However, I just couldn't help myself. I thought the combination looked great. Same goes for the black crop top. I've been wearing it like crazy, but this is the first time that I've tried wearing it over a dress.
I really love the way this look turned out and now I want more tank dresses just so that I can slap a crop top over them. Hehe. It's such a simple combination, but so aesthetically pleasing, IMO. I'm always playing with color blocking and proportions, so the black torso with the asymmetrical grey bottom just totally fascinated me. Also, the cardigan kind of doubles as a top, so I can do the dramatic reveals that I love so much. :D This is a simple look, but the layering adds a complexity that I find really satisfying.
