Would it help to further stoke your imagination, if I told you that the building behind me used to a school? Hehe. Well, it's true. It totally looks like one from the outside, but it has been turned into an apartment building. ;) At any rate, once again, I'm doing my best to blend in with everything around me. Hehe. I just couldn't help wearing this cumin skirt for the second time in a month. The color is just so perfect! The last time I wore it, I paired it with a printed dress. This time, I chose an olive puff sleeve dress for more sophistication (you can see the elastic empire waist a bit...stupid empire waist!).
Those pesky empire waists always force me to wear skirts and jeans a little bit higher than I normally would, in an effort to hide the waist line. So, I find myself looking even more granny-like than originally intended. Haha. Having a short torso also exacerbates matters. >_< Anyway, I was aiming for hipster nerd, but if I ended up with hipster granny chic, I guess I can't complain. I just love this outfit! <3
