Oh, hey! :D Here's an outfit I threw together for a day of shopping (not fun shopping, mind you, just boring errands haha). I felt like wearing something eclectic and fun. Plus, the weather was really nice for a change. It was dry and sunny; and although there was a chill wind, it was still better than the overcast rainy weather we were having last week. That being said, I slightly regretted wearing the sheer skirt since the cold wind went straight through it haha. The cat ear hat came in handy, too. ^_^
This vintage floral blazer is one of my favorite thrift finds from last year. Every time I wear it, I feel so lucky to have been in the right place at the right time to snag it. I've worn it so many different ways, as it seems to go with just about everything I have, which is surprising since the print is really colorful and crazy. This is definitely one of my more eclectic styles. It's pretty out there! Haha. I did a subtle mix of florals with the blazer and sheer maxi skirt. I also used both garments to combine textures (which you can see better in the previous closeup photo). I added the retro flip glasses to give the outfit more of an edge. For some reason, I find that I look particularly devilish whenever I smile while wearing them. Haha.
Here are some closer views of my cobalt blue bag and my sheer maxi skirt. I felt like the bag added a wonderful splash of color and I think the spikes on it are pretty rad. :D I thought about wearing sheer tights underneath the skirt, but I decided to let some skin show through to accentuate its floral print.
This cheeky Threadless tee is one of my favorites. I'm pretty sure the text on the shirt was on an actual flyer before it became an internet meme. You can really feel the person's anger! It's kind of sad, but it's also pretty funny, too. Haha. At any rate, I hope that bike thief got what was coming to him/her!
Who knows? Maybe I scared some people with this outfit, maybe not. It's certainly different, but it has me written all over it, so it can't be all that bad, right? Riiiiiiight? Haha ^_^ Have an awesome day! <3
