I really like this wine red vintage dress, but I don't know much it likes me. I suspect that my love for it is unrequited. Heh. It's not the most flattering dress for my figure. It fits me loosely in the arms and waist, but it's kind of tight in the bust. So, it's an awkward fit, but it was really the collar that drew me to the frock in the first place. The first time I wore this dress, I did so only for that beautiful lace collar.
In hindsight, I probably should have just worn something over the dress, again. Hehe. I dunno. I guess I just wanted to show the entire dress, just this one time. So, here it is! ;P Oh and yes, I know it's a little wrinkled, but f*ck ironing. Amrite? Haha. An ironing board is to Anna as holy water is to a vampire.
In other words, my reaction is: Get it the f*ck away from me. Omfg, it burns! It buuurrrrrrrns! :F~
Anyway. Hehe. I framed the dress with black hues to make the redness of it pop and stand out.
I actually wanted to wear fingerless floral lace gloves, but I couldn't find them anywhere. It was a very distinct source of consternation for me. I know what's going to happen, too. I'll be looking for something else, one day, and there they will be. Staring me right in the face. Laughing. This discovery will, as you might expect, be followed by a barrage of expletives. >_< I look forward to that inevitable meeting.
I'm really feelin' the dark red and black palette, so I'll be playing around with that some more for my next outfit. It'll be layered and avant garde, though. Hope your weekend was legit! Until next time. :D
