Totally ready to f*cking rock and roll, today. Hehe. >;D~ So, I decided to do a curly (frizzy?) mohawk. The decision was kind of made for me, really. You guys know I usually do like a french roll type deal with my hair by sweeping it all to either the left or right and then pinning. Well, I had my hair like that initially and I was like, maybe I'll brush it out and try something else. So, I took out all the pins and fluffed it a bit and what you see is basically what resulted. I had a full on mohawk without even trying.
I didn't even need gel or hair spray (my hair texture is super weird like that, I guess). Anyway, I was so surprised and pleased that I just left it the way it was, got dressed and headed out the door. Of course, as soon as I stepped outside, I got blasted every which way with wind. Story of my life. >_< Haha.
I was like, omfg we need to hurry and get photos, because otherwise no one is going to believe that I managed to pull off a mohawk. Haha. Stupid wind! T_T So, what you see here is pretty blown out. It looked way better before I made the mistake of going outside, but it still looks pretty cool, yeah? :D
As far as the outfit goes, it's a complete remix. I last wore the red plaid high low top here and the corduroy houndstooth pants here. I wanted to do an edgy outfit with a fun mix in prints and I've always been a fan of mixing houndstooth and plaid. :P To make the outfit a little more whimsical, I added the Converses. I wasn't sure about it, at first. I thought it might be too much, but my partner loved the combo. Normally, I don't listen to his style advice--not because it isn't good, but because he's much too generous with his compliments. Haha. In other words, he's *too* nice. So, it's hard for me to get an objective read on the situation. After looking at the photos, though, I'm glad I listened to him. :D
