This is a pretty simple outfit, but it has a few interesting textures and colors. :P It's something that I put together at the last minute to run errands and relax. So, I decided on something comfy, but also chic.
Nowadays, the weekends are for chores that pile up during the week. Also, it's the only time of the week where I can treat myself to a nice meal at a restaurant. That kind of thing means a lot when you're coming home late pretty much every weekday. It sucks making dinner when you're hungry. Hehe. So, it's nice to be able to just kick back and have someone else whip up something amazing for you. :D That's why weekend brunches are such a big deal for us. It's a nice break from the vicissitudes of life.
I could have gone in a really dark direction with this outfit, but I decided not to scare ya'll. ;D The fringed poncho and fringed bag pretty much added the right amount of drama through movement. To make the outfit stand out just a bit more, I wore this vintage poncho as a scarf. It's so versatile. I love it! <3
