What? Oh, I'm just getting rained on and sweating my balls off. >_< 80 degrees, 70% humidity and rain all at the SAME TIME?! Ohhh, it's like I won the lottery. The worst...lottery...ever. T_T Anyway, please excuse my perspiration and partially rain splattered clothing. My style just can't handle these great times we're living in. Rain at least one day every week for the last 10 weeks. Holy sh*t, Summer! Gah! o_O Also, it didn't help that I was wearing a dress underneath all of this, but I wanted to make use of that cute leather collar. I really liked the color contrast. It was worth the suffering, dammit. Haha.
OK. Alright. Focus. There was something really nerdy and cool that I wanted to talk about. Ahh, yes. Radtastic games for Windows 3.1. <3 Guys! :DDD I know many of you are probably too young to know what a floppy disk is, let alone Windows 3.1. So, you guys can just scroll down and ignore this bit. Now, for the rest of you. Come closer, bros. I have stories to tell. *^_^* I remember playing some sick games on my IBM 486 as a young lass. My dad is an electrical engineer, so we always had the latest gear in my house and my two brothers were fortunate enough to have their own computers, also. :P~
I played mostly DOS games, but I also had a cornucopia of games for Windows 3.1. Awww yeah. Ya'll remember Solitaire and Minesweeper? Of course, you do. ;D Who can forget those simple, sweet graphics!? I was never that great at Minesweeper, but when I saw this rad t-shirt with the modern rendition, I very nearly peed my pants. Haha. Best shirt ever! Anyway, Solitaire and Minesweeper were most often passed over for games like Castle of the Winds (epic!), SimCity and Civilization. <3
Yeah. Hardcore nerd stuff, right here. I obviously didn't get out much. Haha. It wasn't entirely my fault, though. My parents were pretty strict and a wee bit controlling when it came to my social life. I spent a lot of time playing strategy games and dungeon crawlers and chatting with friends with whom I wasn't allowed to fraternize on ICQ and IRC. My computer quickly became a source of comfort. It was and still is my best friend. I know. So sad! Haha. It's OK, guys. Don't feel bad. I'm a very happy geek! ^_^
