What Would You Have Me Do, Inspector?

This is probably the best walking shot, I've ever done. Huzzah! Haha. Pretty rad. :D

Keit (Beauty In Insanity), I'm dedicating this post to you, because you said I wasn't posting enough photos for you to "drool" over. So, drool away, my dear! <3

I never understood why bloggers take lots of photos of themselves in basically the same pose, with only slight variations. I just show the front and side and some close-ups. Badabing, badaboom. I dunno. I'm new. Heh.

Anyway, so what is going on here? Well, I roped my partner into snapping some photos of what I had planned to wear later on in the night. He was itching to go skiing, so we took these in kind of a rush. Hehe. Still, he was quite patient and kind. =P I have a tendency to wait until I'm actually going somewhere to take a fashion photo. The problem with this is that it is difficult to take photos after dark.

So, I'm glad that I had the sense to take these ahead of time. It was a nice day, too! The snow steadily melted and the sun disappeared and reappeared periodically as the stratus clouds would permit.

I wanted to create kind of a menswear look, so I used a deep v-neck cardigan to give the appearance of a vest and I wore a hand-made tie in a fat half-Windsor knot. I love wearing men's ties. :D The tie is the only other new thing that I'm wearing here. Awhile back I mentioned that I really wanted my own necktie and my partner didn't have a single black tie for me to steal. You can read that post here.

I also had revealed that this severe necktie shortage drove me to Etsy where I purchased a made-to-order tie from Montreal. This, my friends, is one beautifully crafted tie. William made the tie exactly as I had asked and I just adore it. His English is limited and my French is non-existent, but we were able to work together just fine. I feel like the only thing I'm missing is a hot side kick wearing a trench coat and holding a magnifying glass. Haha. This is probably my favorite outfit for the year. As soon as I put it together, I was in love. It was so warm, cozy and really easy to wear. I actually wore this to a punk/rock show. I had on darker makeup, but that was it. I think I was able to blend in quite nicely with that crowd. :D

Yupiiiieeee! ^_^ You made my morning very happy and coffee craving :-D Thank you for making more photos. I don't get the whole posting of 20 photos which look the same too, but you post 2-3 and I really need to see 10 of yours because your style is incredibly original :-)
And wow, walking shot looks so proffesional, just like a model! The boyish look stopped my breath, especially love the vest and necktie <3

Hahaha... this made me laugh and smile. I didn't expect this much jubilation. :DDD Haha. Thank you! In the past, I have been told my style is "funky." I always hated that. I know people meant well, but I mean, I'm not Punky Brewster or anything hehe. I prefer "random" and "unpredictable" or even "different." I also humbly accept "incredibly original." ;P

I did some modeling when I was younger. Just informal stuff really, i.e., someone is like, 'hey, you wanna help out with a fashion show I'm doing?' and I would be like, 'sure.' Heh. So I get to do a little runway gig and I keep the clothing I modeled that night or whatever. No biggie. :P But yeah, that first shot is my favorite. It surprised me when I first looked at it.

I truly believe that I should have been born a man. Unfortunately, I was not. Haha. So, I try to compensate for that with my styles every now and again. I love menswear. :DD

Oh! I love menswear inspired looks, and you pull it off just right with the tie and the V-neck. I like that the leggings (such a fun print) and skirt..er, dress... keep it feminine. Good mix.

OHMY! Those leggings are TO DIE for. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. :D Also, loving the menswear look as well. Great jacket too. But, all of your clothes are truly fab.

Ah, yeah man! They're pretty rad! I think everyone has those few items in their closet that they're super proud of. This is certainly one of those. I think I was just in the right place at the right time, as it was the product of a flash sale. :P

Gosh. Don't feel pressured to do poses! I think your current poses are natural and that is the most important thing, IMO. Your blog looks and feels really genuine. Most of my poses are just happy accidents, really. Haha.
