"We Are Made of Star Stuff" - Carl Sagan

I always try to remember to look up. Not enough people take the time to do that. They get caught up in that rat race called life. Just gazing at the moon puts my entire existence into perspective. We're hurtling around the sun at 100,000 km/h in a vacuum. Just think about that. Friggin' cool, huh?

So, I just couldn't resist getting these leggings. I've always wanted a pair and I was so happy to thrift them from a pal in Canada. They're from Romwe, but I paid a little bit less than their list price. :D

I'm wearing some more new things, by the way! I layered a fringed poncho from ASOS and a fringed cardigan over a sleeveless black high-low top. I got the poncho last Fall and I believe I've had the cardigan for over a year now. They're both kind of heavy and fussy, so I don't wear them too often. However, when I do wear them, I always like to use them to make a statement.

Here, I used the contrasting blacks and greys in such a way that they would make the more colorful celestial tights the center of attention. I didn't want to be boring with just an all black or all grey outfit, so I tried to mix the colors to create an understated, but still interesting mix of hues.

Last, but not least, I'm featuring my new fringe bag from Chicnova. I bought it along with a red purse and a brown sweater back in November 2012.
