Rainy, windy and cold. Not exactly the weekend weather I had been hoping for. It was positively icy, y'all. The wind whipped my coat mercilessly and I almost lost my hat a gazillion times. Gah! T_T
My fingers were numb and my face hurt, but I just tried to smile through it. >_< I don't know how my partner was able to feel the controls on the camera. So thankful for his help, though. My tripod probably would have blown over, if I had tried to use it. Heh. At any rate, despite the uncharacteristic weather, I put together an outfit that I felt would be fit for a Spring day. I really love the bright pink florals next to the deep navy. I added some chocolaty hues for balance and snuck in some extra pattern work with the cute record player socks, a gift from my sponsor, Sock It To Me. :3 The blue fabric of the socks don't quiiiiiite match up to the blue in my coat, but it works so well with the dress when the coat is removed.
I loved the coat with the dress and the socks with the dress, so it was worth that itty bitty mismatch or whatever. We can't all be perfect. I mean. Gosh. Hehe. :D Hope you had a great weekend! <3
