Vanilla Mint Mocha

I really, really love this one. *^_^* I put this on for Sunday brunch and as we stepped out of the house, my partner said that I looked "very earthy." Hehe. I responded by saying, "Perfect! That's what I was going for!" One of my many personal style challenges is to combine different shades of the same hue. The brighter the color, the harder this task, I find. >_<. Here, I'm sticking with shades of brown, but I intend to go as bright as red someday. I just need to work up the courage and get the right pieces. ;P

This mint floral collar blouse is so fantastic. The details are beautiful and it was the collar that caught my eye, initially. When I saw it, I knew immediately that I wanted to use the blouse as a layering tool. So, that's why you're only seeing the collar here. I might wear the blouse on its own at some point, but you can check the product photo to get a closer look! I'm super stoked to have thrifted this top. ^_^

The vintage nutmeg eyelet cardigan is one of my favorite Etsy purchases. I've had the cardigan for awhile now, but the last time I wore it was November of last year. I know. Unacceptable. Heh. I should wear it more often. I just find it difficult to craft outfits where the cardigan will shine. The color is unique, but this also makes styling it challenging. I have other plans for it, though, so keep an eye out. :D

I'm happy to have found another outfit for these light brown zipper boots. I really don't wear them as much as I should. So, I've been making a concerted effort to highlight them whenever possible.

That's it! ^_^ My partner and I walked a few blocks to a small bakery. I had a seasonal vegetable omelet filled with butternut squash. I love that this place often sneaks in bits of sweet potato with the regular potato hash. Hehe. We shared a blueberry muffin and then took a long walk to one of our favorite coffee shops to warm up and chat before heading home. <3 I hope you all had a pleasant weekend!

Haha, you do look earthy! This outfit reminds me of chocolate milk too! I love the different texture combination and that lovely lustrous bag! *_* This omelet sounds so yummy...I need it! O_O

Right? I almost always go for the omelet on a menu when I'm out. I don't know why, really, but I couldn't pass up the butternut squash with the havarti. Delicious! <3
