It had been a full day of packing and I was super tired, miserable, all the things, really. I've barely scratched the surface of what needs to be thrown out, packed up or donated to charity. So, I'm also feeling really anxious and whatnot. Rather than stay inside on such a beautiful day, surrounded by boxes and constant reminders of things left to be done, I decided to get out for some fresh air.
Normally, I dress how I feel. However, if I had gone that route, things would have been much more bleak, I think. Hehe. Instead, I amped up the quirkiness meter to the max with an unconventional mix in prints and lots of bright colors. Needless to say, it didn't take long for a smile to creep onto my face.
Who doesn't like polka dots, elephants and bicycles with cute little doggies in the front basket? :DDD The socks were gifted to me by my sponsor, Sock It To Me, and they're just $12.00. I had a lot of fun wearing this outfit and, if the reactions of passersby were any indication, I wasn't the only one feeling the urge to smile. :P Have a great weekend, guys! I'll be back with more weirdness on Tuesday. <3
