The way people were looking at me, you would have thought I had murdered someone and got away with it or something. o_O O_o I know that I've worn outfits that are comparatively farther outside the box of that which is normal, comforting and holy. So, I don't know what was up, but whatevs. *shrug*
I wonder if it's because I wore suspenders with high rise jeans. Haha. I mean, I know it's pretty counter-intuitive. Suspenders are for holding up your pants and I clearly don't need help in that area. The vintage high waisted jeans are doing what they need to do, in that regard. Still, I couldn't help it. I loved the polka dots with the floral blazer. It just added a little something extra that a plain black pair of suspenders just wouldn't do. Alternatively, it is possible I confused people by wearing suspenders with a crop top, but I can't be the first person ever to do this. Heh. At any rate, I love that kind of look. <3
Maybe it's my dancing shoes? Haha. Yeah, I call them my dancing shoes, now. I always feel like I should do the jitterbug when I wear them. ;D~ Seriously, though. These wingtip booties are the best ever. I'm super picky about how I wear them, but I feel like adding them to the outfit was the right call. The whole look just wouldn't have been the same without them. I've definitely got a vintage hipster thing going on here. Hehe. Oh and yes, I'm wearing a crop top even though I am no longer a young whipper snapper in my 20s. >_< My birthday is this week, too. I'm going to be another year closer to death, so maybe I should just do whatever the f*ck I want, yeah? So, crop tops it is, bitches. Crop tops it is.
