Time & Relative Dimension In Space (T-Shirt Challenge!) Part 6/9

Allons-y! *^_^* I'm traveling without moving, today. I often wonder what the distant future will be like. I imagine some things will get better (e.g. self-driving cars FTW!) and other things will inevitably get worse (e.g. availability of natural resources). I think the advances in technology alone would make it worth being cryogenically frozen. *shrug* What? That would be cool. Also, I'm a curious bastard. >:D

Anyway, this obsessive curiosity about the future (and about life on other planets... :P) made me a huge fan of Dr. Who. A time traveling dapper dude in a police box? It doesn't get any better than that, my friends. So, obviously, I have a shirt bearing the hallowed TARDIS. <3 My partner got it for me as a gift. He has one just like it, too. ^_^ On rare occasions, we end up wearing the same shirt. When that happens, we're too amused to change outfits. It's a lot like when you say something and the person you're with says the exact same thing at the same time. You start to think that some strange, unnatural force is at work and you check yourself for jinx residue. Haha. Whatevs. I'm OK with a little voodoo. ;D~

Of the actors who have played The Doctor, David Tennant is my favorite. I'd dress like his character everyday, if I could afford it. Haha. So, I tried to embrace his quirky personality by adding a colorful men's bow tie and fun polka dot skirt. The white blouse underneath is vintage. I thrifted it along with a cream colored blouse, last week. I bought them because of their beautiful, patterned collars. I had a tailor remove the long sleeves on both of them, so I could do the kind of layering that I love to do. :3
The bow tie conceals the subtle pattern play, I'm afraid, but you can see a closeup photo here.

Finally, I wore brown tassel loafers and a brown braided satchel for some added vintage flair. I opted for my brown ombre Warby's for a touch of sophistication. Yep. :D So, what do you think the distant future will be like? What kind of technological advancements would you most look forward to?

I'm still holding out for hover boards and jetpacks. Haha. <3 *^_^* <3
