Oh, hey bros! :D It was a nice and sunny day (for once!), so my partner and I decided to run some errands and then go to the park for a leisurely walk. But first I needed to go down to the post office to pick up a rad denim jacket from one of my sponsors (you'll see it later in the week, it's wicked!).
There was a queue at the post office, so I found myself getting stared at by some little old lady and a bunch of college girls. My partner noticed this, too and I just turned to him and whispered: "My baggy pants and wife beater are in the wash otherwise I would have worn those, so..." Haha. Apparently, I looked too nice to be in the post office. Whatevs. After that we did a little shopping and then went for a walk at the park where I got stared at by a bunch more people. I should probably get used to this. Heh.
My outfit is primarily remixed. I last wore the navy jacket here and the high waisted plaid skirt here. The collar underneath my shirt is from my sleeveless TIL Darling bird print blouse. You can see better views of that blouse here. I felt like the shirt needed just a little something to help maintain the overall nerdy, quirky, but sweet look that I was going for. Also, I liked the varying shades of blue in the outfit.
I've worn these brown buckled zipper boots (try saying that three times fast o_O O_o) so many times since I first got them in early December of last year. They're really comfortable and the sturdy heel gives me a little extra height for maxi dresses and skirts. I quickly became obsessed and bought two more pairs in black and dark brown. I wear the black version almost every week. I can't help it. Haha.
The t-shirt weather we were having gave me a pretty good excuse to wear my brand new Threadless octopus tee. *^_^* There's so much to love about this shirt. It's a bright sky blue which is a really fun Summer color to play around with style wise; it has an adorable octopus on it; and the octopus has a hat on. It's wearing a hat! Come on, bro! :DDD And of course his name has to be Steve Zissou. <3
