It was one of those days where it was so cold that I couldn't feel my face. T_T It was horrible. Heh. Every time I spoke to my partner, plumes of white air rushed out of my mouth and I couldn't feel my lips touch as I formed my words. It was like I was a ghost or something. Ugh. Damn you, Winter! >_<

Rather than get all bent out of shape, I chose to just smile through it. Hehe. Also, stupid things kept happening. The cold winds kept blowing my scarf in weird directions and, when I opened my coat, the flaps were blown every which way. I could hardly keep myself under control. All I could do was laugh.

Despite the crappy weather, I was still in a pretty good mood and I wanted to display those feelings in my outfit. *^_^* I was determined to wear this beautiful white coat, because it's brand new and, though I've had it for maybe two years, I hadn't worn it. White scares me something fierce. Haha. I'm just so freaked out by it. I love the purity of the color and it's a versatile canvas for light and dark patterns.

However, I'm always afraid that I'll spill something on the coat or set it down on something dirty. I'm also not too keen about how the color actually looks on me. For this reason, I hardly ever wear my (only) white pair of spring/summer sandals. I feel like an oddball in them. Maybe I should see a hypnotist or something. >_< I may leave the session quacking like a duck every time some says, 'chicken cordon bleu,' but at least I'll be able to wear white pants, coats and shoes with the utmost confidence. Haha.

Aaaaanyway. Hehe. :P I like hidden surprises, so I wore this super bright and cheery plaid dress underneath the coat (along with the usual thermal layers). The knitted deer panel on the bodice is really cute. The dress is one of those things that I would enjoy looking at, even if I couldn't actually wear it. Hehe. It gave me another reason to smile on a day filled with errands and grocery shopping. <3

I thought the coat looked new (I love how you've styled it)! You brave thing, a white coat is way too scary for me. Actually, white anything is scary. Have you ever seen me wear a true white? Nope. Always off-white/cream/ivory for me. :D

Excellent coat with surprise plaid underneath. Yeah, that frozen lips thing, I get that too. So annoying! Heh. But I'm glad you made the effort and smacked winter with your super style.

First of all I am soooo with you regarding your fear of White, I have always said that hue is High Maintenance and as I am naturally clumsy, white is not my friend. Back to you, that coat is gorge and love the collar. Also, how cute is that plaid dress, love the designer that reworked that trend, the printed deer are everything! (:

Sweet! I'm not alone with my fear. Haha. It *is* high maintenance, I totally agree. Also, it's a color that really stands out and I'm still not the most comfortable when it comes to wearing brights. >_<

When it was that cold I didn't even go outside if I didn't really have to! haha :D And I was wearing two pairs of tights and jeans, and two sweaters under my coat. I really admire you how did you stand the cold when shooting this outfit!
I like the white coat, it's beautiful and it suits you very well! The cut and the material is unique, I love it <3

Haha. Yeah, that's a legitimate question. All I can say is 1) I do my best to wear as much as possible without looking too frumpy and 2) I try to get the shots I need while taking as little time as possible.

I always like to have a lot of photos to choose from, because I have a tendency to make very odd facial expressions. Haha. Also, I have a problem with blurry photos and it's hard to tell that they aren't very sharp when I look at them on my camera. However, when it's cold, it's just rapid shooting and hoping for the best, because I don't want to be out there for too long. :F~

I've recently invested in some really nice hand warmers that I've been keeping inside my pockets. Those really help. :3

I don't have too many white clothing items and I never wear them when I have to eat in public or something like that :'D
