Your Brights Are On

I'm wearing my red coat, again. I know! Hush! ;D I tried a dark green coat and a grey coat and, in the end, I just felt like the red one looked best. It really brightens up the whole outfit and I wanted to be super colorful on this overcast, bitterly cold (-20°F to be exact o_O) and highly depressing afternoon.

This will be a short post since the only new thing I'm wearing is this plaid dress from my sponsor, Sammydress. You've seen the scarf in this post and the leggings in this post, among others. I could have worn plain colored leggings, but I wanted to push the envelop a bit with mixing colors and prints.

This is my second time wearing this navy vintage blazer. It's the best ever! I love that it's oversized. I don't know why I'm getting into grandma sweaters and grandpa blazers these days. Could it be the comfort factor? I really like loose fitting clothing as opposed to skin tight thingies. I lounge in loose clothes at home, so why not do it when I leave? Heh. I could be shy..or lazy..or just not all that fond of everyone seeing my muffin top after having eaten half a pizza and quaffed two to three rum and cokes.

I wish I could have gotten better close up shots of the hem and the deer print, but after about 30 minutes, I started to feel like a human icicle, so...yeah. Haha. The product photos will have to do for now. Originally, I had planned to use the dress as a layering tool, because the print extends to the collar making it perfect underneath sweaters. The lace hem would add an interesting twist underneath a plain colored skirt of the right length. I really had no intention of wearing it by itself, but I felt that I would be doing a great injustice if I didn't show the dress in its entirety this one time. So there you go! ^_^

Oh and I DID say this post would be short, right? I could have sworn....hmm..... >_<

Haha, Anna, I had to laugh when you wrote it just covered your back, you are tall - I am short! 5'3 :) As usual, I loved the boots BUT as usual, I love shoes a lot, only that today I loved moooore the red coat! Yes, recipes! You have no idea how much I hate cooking. It's not that I'm bad at it. I'm actually quite good when I put my mind to it. It's just the PROCESS that I don't enjoy. I get flustered. It's weird. Anyway, I do enjoy eating good food..haha. So, I'd love to get those recipes. ^_^

Right on! I was a little worried about it, but after I saw the photos I was like 'yeah, that coat was the right one.' For some reason, I end up either liking or hating my outfits after seeing them photographed. Looking at them in the mirror just isn't the same. Anyway, yeah we got this crazy cold front last week, but we're back up to double digits and it's quite nice this weekend. ^_^

I don't blame you for liking loose clothing. I find it very comfortable to throw on some skinny jeans and a poofy sweater. Balance is the key.
