Revenge of the Radio Star

I didn't do anything crazy, this time! You can breathe easy. Haha. I put together something super casual and quite simple. Though, I did throw in a fun t-shirt which you can see in better detail below. ^___^

If you're a child of the 80s, you probably remember the song, Video Killed The Radio Star. This Threadless t-shirt basically shows the Radio Star getting some long overdue revenge. Haha. Again, this is one of those shirts that you either get and love, or don't get and hate. I seem to have a lot of these types of tees. Hehe. Anyway, I love the iridescent stream of colors in the shirt. It seems to glow!

Finally, the other new thing I'm sporting is this ModCloth high waisted pencil skirt. It's rather form fitting which kind of makes me uncomfortable from a modesty perspective, but I love the colors and the exposed zipper in the back. It's so fun to style, so I just try to get over my shyness when I wear it. Heh.

Also, I apologize for the booty shot. o_O O_o Haha. I just wanted to show the exposed zipper. I think it's really cool, but unfortunately the placement falls...well...on my booty. OK? Sorry! Sorry! >_< <3

So, where did I go in this little number? Ohhhh, you guessed it. Coffee shop. Haha. ^_^ I got myself a peppermint mocha; brought my iGrado headphones (looped around my neck, as you can see) and my laptop for some good old fashioned time wasting. :D Oh and I did bring my ModCloth backpack from this previous post, but I forgot to wear it for the photos, because I'm lame. Sorry about that!

There you have it! This is probably a much needed boring visual palate cleanser given the craziness of my last few posts. Haha. Don't worry, I'll be scaring you again, soon! :P Have a great weekend!

Lovin' that shirt, I love that the little pops of color coordinate with the skirt without being matchy matchy. Also, those metal tipped lapels on the collar are the perfect little detail.

I love all the craziness but this is gorgeous too. The eighties were my teenaged years so I remember that song well and still love it. OH OH

Awww man, look at you being all cute with your laptop and shiz.

I think the simple outfit was a good idea, even though lawd knows that I adore when you get funky, because it's nice to rest the chops for a bit and just float on instinct.
