Rainbows, Fluffy White Clouds, Vespas & a Missing Unicorn

Once upon a time, there was a girl named, Anna, who thrifted a fabulous rainbow sweater,

She found that every time she wore it, the rainbow colors made her feel so much better.

About a world that seemed so vast and isolating that it might swallow her whole,

Whenever she wore her sweater, its cyan sky and puffy white clouds
transported her to a peaceful and grassy knoll.

A happy victim of wanderlust, this sweater allowed her to travel without
moving to a land where joyful spirits are born,

And so she embarked on a troublesome, but necessary journey in
search of a missing unicorn.

Traversing through her mind on an electrical vespa dodging each
and every synapse and nerve,

She happily searched for the majestic horned animal that her
rainbow sweater so desperately deserved.

Am I right? This sweater needs a unicorn on it! :D~ Anyway, I just wanted to try telling a story through pictures. I used to write poetry a lot when I was younger, but not so much anymore. Too busy for me to hear my muse when she whispers. :/

The words for the poem above came so easily to me, though. It felt nice to explore my imagination with words after so long.

Right now, you might be thinking 'Hey, she's not wearing a hat and she's indoors. What gives?' Hehe. Well, I wore this outfit all day. On my way to grab coffee with my partner, I spotted the desolate train tracks and decided it would be a great place to showcase my outfit. It worked out well! Never leave home without your camera! Hehe. You never know what you'll find.

Later that night, I went to a really cramped club to watch my friend's band do a set. They rocked it so hard, in case you were wondering. ;D So, before leaving the house, I decided to snap a shot of my little feisty hair-do. Haha. I would have just worn a hat, but I thought I should stop being so lazy for once. If my ears get cold and numb from the frosty air, well so be it!

Haahaha, totally agree, this sweater needs a unicorn desperately :D Love how you paired it with the cardi and bad ass booties!

Love the color combination. Lately, I been obsessed with cardigans. I guess it has to do with the weather. Yours is really cool and like the boots.

Hey! Thanks so much! <3 Yeah, I have similar obsessions that are cyclical in nature. Right now, it's elbow patch sweaters. Prior to this it was floral...well..anything really. I don't even make an effort to try to not give into these whims. I'm kind of ridiculous...and weak. Very very weak. Hehe.

Thanks! It was a very exciting thrift find. I know how much this brand usually sells for and I just adore the design, so I pretty much freaked out silently (if that's possible heh) and then bought it immediately. :D

Train tracks are such an interesting place to take photos. Just the perfect level of industrial grit! LOVE those boots!

Probably a little cliche on my part, but I liked the desolation. It's hard for me to be myself when there's some creeper watching. Heh. I love these boots, too! I wear them way too much! <3
