A summer/spring dress and a romper in the winter? Yep! >:D Breaking all the rules. How you like me now, fashion gurus? How you like me, now? Haha. I hope the gurus are very annoyed and lose sleep.
I never thought I would be able to wear this multi-color vintage dress in the winter, but I found a way. :D I just wore a thermal top and a long sleeved top underneath. That seemed to do the trick. Then, I wore two pairs of fairly thick tights and stuffed all of that into a rather form fitting romper. I don't know how I managed to avoid looking like a sausage. o_O O_o The navy coatigan worked well with the overall outfit, I think. It also kept me super warm. ^_^ My cat ripped out the shoulder of the coatigan and I freaked out, because I have many plans for this little beauty. It can't die, yet! >_< So, I took it to a seamstress and she did a wonderful job. I'm too lazy and inept to do such repairs myself. :F~
The pumpkin colored hat is from my sponsor, Oasap, and it retails for $5.90. The hat I ordered was supposed to be a warm, bright yellow. Instead, I received this hat, which confused me. The thing is, I didn't pay for it, so I guess I don't have standing to complain. I just made the best of it, like I would normally do (unless the mistake was really, really bad or there were significant defects). Maybe this hat was part of a bad batch, but just be aware that if you order the yellow hat, you might not get a hat of that exact color. Fortunately, I'm OK with this light orange version and I think it will get a lot of wear.
I can't believe this is my final post of the year. o_O For some reason, whenever December rolls around I find myself thinking: 'F*ck. Is it really the end of the year, already?' This prompts me to go through my picture albums in an effort to assure myself that I made the most of the year. Heh. I always get anxious thinking about all of the things that I still want to do and wondering if time will just fly by before I get a chance to cross them off my bucket list. *sigh* Nevertheless, I look forward to what the next year will bring and I'm super stoked that you guys will be right there with me, week after week. ^_^ <3
