Hey, dudes! What's happenin'? :DDD I'm ready for the weekend. So ready. Hehe. I'm basically the kind of person who lives for those two goof off days of the week. I always figure if I can *just* make it to Saturday, then everything will be alright. Haha. The weekend is that piece of cheese tied to a string that's just out of reach on this old treadmill called life. It smells so tasty and delicious. Gimme! T_T
On the weekends, I get to dress up! w00t! That's something to which I always look forward, along with playing video games, watching movies, making myself mixed drinks and taking pictures of my cat while she sleeps. :3 What? I promise you, she's at her best when she's asleep. When she's awake, that little critter is hell on wheels. o_O Sooo, yeah. Heh. I decided to try to look all respectable and what not.
I wanted the vintage tartan culottes to be the star of the show, so I surrounded it with neutral black and white tones. I love these culottes so much. I want more culottes! <3 My partner said that I looked like I was wearing a school uniform. Haha. I don't think I would mind having to wear something like this to school, every day. I think this outfit is pretty f*cking rad! >:D It has just the right mix of masculine and feminine qualities and it has a vintage modern feel that I love. It's a bit androgynous, too. ^_^
I topped everything off with this simple, but effective black bow tie. It is a gift from my sponsor, Newchic, and it costs about $3.00. It comes in just about every color you could imagine. I would have loved to get bright yellow or pastel purple, but every gal could use a staple black bow tie. Now, I finally have one. Hehe. I look forward to wearing it with so many things. It's well made for the price!
