I was inspired by vintage pop rocks packages. o_O O_o Yep. Not even joking about this. Hehe. What can I say, dude? I'm weird. I draw inspiration from all kinds of things: nature, music, video games, etc.
There are a lot of different ways that I could have incorporated the colors of the packages. Ultimately, I decided to do a minimalist style using just the black double breasted coat, the sheer black angular paneled dress and the understated vintage men's black cap toe loafers as a canvas. Then, I added the blue rainbow pompom hat. The hat has all of the colors I needed. I thought about finding other ways to include additional colors in the outfit, but everything I tried looked forced. So, I just kept it simple.
As you may or may not know, simple is *not* my forte. Hehe. So, as a result, I felt quite 'naked' in this outfit. Despite its simplicity, I do think it's pretty well composed. I just hope it isn't too boring! :P
