My blog followers shouldn't be surprised to see me with a cup of coffee. You can pretty much assume that, in any given photo, I am either on my way to a coffee shop or I have just returned from one. Haha. It's a tradition, especially on the weekends. Why? Well, it's a long story and probably pretty boring, so let's just move on. Hehe. :P I decided to have brunch at a fancy shmancy place downtown. Hence, I wore something kinda cutesy. If it makes any difference, I was treating a friend to a birthday lunch. :D
Anyway, the food was delicious and the conversation was top notch. I really couldn't ask for more. After that, I got my obligatory coffee from one of my preferred java joints, donned my favorite bear hat and walked home amidst multi-colored Fall leaves. I guess I have kind of an animal/weird/nerdy hat fetish. I have two bear hats, two rabbit hats and a monkey hat. I also have two wizard hats (one of them lights up - so f*cking awesome, you guys!). Hehe. When I was in Japan, my friend Shunsuke told me about "hat power." Basically, certain hats give you certain strengths and confidence. They make you
feel and act a certain way. I like to think that my hat power, today was pretty strong. =)
These are additional photos of my outfit, but without my wrist warmers and jacket getting in the way. As you can see, I carried a black satchel and I chose to wear a black cardigan over the collared top. I like to break up colors in this way. The pitch black brings the pinks and blues to the fore and calls attention to the contrasting colors in my shirt collar. That's what I call, 'strategic chromatics'! Sexy, I know! :D~
