Scared a bunch of people at a rather quaint French restaurant. Yep. We walked in and the din of conversations hushed to a palpable murmur. Haha. The only thing that would have made it even better is a portable time travel device. I'd just turn that sucker on; grab some rando old dude who was just about to lift a fork to his pie hole and just vanish with him; leaving the fork to clatter loudly on his plate.
That wouldn't have been very considerate to my partner, however. He would've been left to explain this and that; talk to the cops; blah blah. Poor sod just wanted a croque madame. So, yeah. Needless to say, I did my utmost to remain on my best behavior. Hehe. I was expecting something rustic and cozy, but it turned out to be too fancy. Who needs reservations to eat brunch? Ugh. I'll stick to plebeian joints.
I dunno what's happening to my old neighborhood, but it feels like it's changing from a cozy communal niche with a sprinkling of hipsters to a nursery for old douchebags and their entitled progeny. I haven't lived in that area for about seven years, but....man. The vibe is so much different (and more welcoming) just a couple blocks away in the yarn bombed neighborhood that I call home. Gah. I'll shut up, now.
You'd think that I would be pretty warm in all of the clothes I'm wearing (and I'm wearing a lot of clothes), but no. No, I was not warm. Stupid negative temperatures! Go away! >_< I'll take 30 degrees, again. Pretty please! That would be so incredible, right now. T_T It had been so long since I'd done a super layered up outfit and even longer since I'd last worn the map leggings, so I feel quite satiated. :D Hope you like the outfit as much as I enjoyed wearing it (and frightening unsuspecting randos hehe)!
