If I didn't have music in my life, I would probably go super crazy. >_< I can't stand a silent house.
I always have to have some music playing in the background. I'll even leave music playing, so that it's the first thing I hear when I come home from work. It's a comfort. I lose myself in it all the time. <3
It used to be that I couldn't sleep without music. When I was in law school, I slept with headphones on. The walls in my efficiency were paper thin and there was a night club around the corner, so I was killing two birds with one stone, really. Hehe. Yep. I'm pretty obsessed with sweet beats. :D If you're like me, you tend to seek out and congregate with other audiophiles. So, it should come as no surprise that I met my partner of 13 years on a music message board on the internet. Haha. Our first date involved a night of dancing to house music. I used to listen to him spin disco house at his apartment. We shared CDs (yeah, remember those old things? o_O) and we'd listen to them together in his car several days a week. Every time we went out together, music was always at the center of our activities. He has a degree in audio engineering, too! ^_^
I can't help but feel like my partner and I were destined to be together. :3 Two peas in a pod made of vinyl. Hehe. So, I really loved the print on this tee when I first saw it. It depicted a feeling that I understood all too well. The print is a bit faded, since I've had it for probably 5+ years and I wear it often. For today's outfit, I simply added faux leather and a cozy knit for a comfortable, casual look. :P
I found myself thinking, 'I wish I had a leather collar to add to the shirt' and then I remembered that I *do* have a leather collar. It just happens to be on a dress. Hehe. So, I wore the dress underneath. ^_^
