I'm feeling ready for Spring. I'm ready to see green grass and blooming flowers, again. T_T For now, I guess I'll have to settle for printed floral patterns. Heh. Admittedly, this outfit has more of an Autumn than Spring feel, at least in my opinion, and I'm OK with that. Truth be told, Fall is my favorite season.
I really wanted to wear this vintage wool purple cardigan. <3 I don't feel like I wear it nearly as often as I should. It's not exactly super warm, so that's probably why, as I tend to reach for cardigans like this one in the Fall/Spring. Luckily, it wasn't a particularly cold day, despite the snow on the ground. You can see that the streets are wet and there was a lot of slush on the sidewalks. So, I decided a thermal and a light floral tunic would be fine underneath and then I'd just layer a heavier pea coat on top.
I like this mix of cream, navy, purple and brown. It has a calming effect, much like the flare of the setting sun behind me. It was a fine day for a stroll. Looking forward to even better days in the weeks ahead.
