These photos were taken not long after a camping and zip lining shindig in which my partner and I participated. I was super stoked to camp out, even if it would just be for one night. I'm pretty addicted to the whole sleeping in a tent, hiking, star gazing, campfire cooking kinda thing. Also, it was nice to be away from technology. I couldn't call out or use the internet, so my phone was for music only. Hehe.
My partner and I had just driven back into town and finished up an early brunch. I don't know if I look tired, but I know I felt exhausted. Neither of us remembered to bring pillows on the trip. So, I found it very hard to sleep without waking up every hour from numb hands and arms that were being used as makeshift head rests. >_< It's easy to take something as simple as a pillow for granted, but I will never make that mistake, again. I have half a mind to just throw some pillows in the trunk indefinitely. Hehe.
That way, they'll always be there in case of a pillow emergency. :DDD At any rate, you can understand why I opted for this super casual outfit. It was easy to throw on while packing up our camping gear and it was more or less nice enough to wear to brunch and other places, so I didn't feel like I had to change clothes when we arrived at home. The running tee is one of my favorites, by the way. It was a gift from my partner's mom for XMAS and I wear it pretty much every time I go for a run. Everyone who sees it either smiles or comes up to me to tell me how funny they think it is. Hehe. I find it's a great casual tee that can easily be dressed up or down. So, I have a lot of fun wearing it for all kinds of occasions. <3
