Halloween is this weekend, ya'll! :DDD I always view Halloween as an opportunity to be someone else for day. It's a free day, really. You can express yourself however you choose and you're free to do so with little or no judgment. Still, I've never actually celebrated Halloween. By that, I mean, I've never dressed up as a character. There isn't anything wrong with that, mind you. It's just not my thing. Heh.
So, I regard the holiday as an extension of what I already do, everyday. Every time I get dressed, I'm taking advantage of the opportunity to tell a story and, in so doing, I can be whoever I want to be. I can be tough, androgynous, dainty, rustic, sweet, futuristic, apocalyptic. I'm a different person each day of the week. Essentially, every day is Halloween for me. Hehe. :P So, with today's look, I guess I sort of celebrate Halloween, while nevertheless managing to stay true to my personal aesthetic. <3
Since I'm a fan of the "big reveal," I covered up the most interesting part of the outfit with a cardigan. When I unbutton the cardigan, you can see some little white eyes staring you. Disconcerting. Hehe. However, when I remove the cardigan, you can see that the eyes belong to a panda with claws. o_O
Right. Yep! Well, enjoy your weekend of debauchery and try to stay safe. ;P~
