Probably should have brought an umbrella, eh?" Hehe. We weren't planning on going too far, at any rate, so we just decided to power through. Of course, I gave my partner the courtesy of standing with his back to the wind. :P
Yep. I totally got blasted from every which way with wind and ice, you guys. It was soooo great. Haha. Let me tell you. Fack. T_T. OK. I'll stop complaining....for now......Heh. Ohhh yeah! :D I felt like it had been ages since I'd worn the vintage floral tapestry vest, so I stared at that piece for a really long time until all of the other pieces came together in the sort of masculine, sort of feminine outfit you now see before you. <3
I get a kick out of the personal inscription in this vintage men's suit jacket, every time. :D That's what brought the whole "mister and misses" phrase to mind. "Specially Made for Mr. R. Christensen." Well, I wonder if Mr. Christensen ever thought that a brown girl with a shaved head would end up gallivanting in his suit jacket. Haha. Times have changed, indeed. Also, I have to say, this suit jacket is like a wearable bag of holding. It has four inner pockets. Four!!!! I didn't have to carry a bag at all and I felt so freeeeee. Haha. I carried my phone, wallet, handkerchief, chapstick, pouch for my glasses and a coin purse with room to spare. Why don't they make ladies jackets and coats like this? For f*ck's sake. I will never purchase a "women's suit" with those craptastic fake pockets ever again. Useless.
After our short walk to a nearby cafe to warm up, the falling ice suddenly turned into snow and not long after that it was completely white out. o_O O_o Strange how things can just turn on a dime, like that.
