I've got lots of new stuff to share, so let's get to it! :D As you can see from my last few posts, I'm trying very hard to keep things colorful this winter season. I'm wearing a little bit of black here, but that color was necessary to finish off the overall look of the outfit. So, the first new things I've got are my puffy red mittens and thick black tights. I got them both at a pretty steep discount. The gloves I picked up on final sale early last Spring and I bought the tights during a Black Friday sale last Fall.
The pumpkin orange skirt is another new addition from ASOS. I'll do a review of my shopping experience with ASOS at a later date. For now, I'll say that I do like the quality of the items I've received from them. This skirt and a couple other items constituted my first ever ASOS purchase and I will very likely shop with them again. The skirt is thick and quite heavy. I love the color! It's a tad big in the waist and that, in combination with its weight, makes it feel as if it might slip off of me while walking. It has yet to fall around my ankles and expose my tidy whities. Haha. I doubt that it will ever do that, though. :D
I'm also wearing a sparkly black blouse from Ruche. Unfortunately, you can see only the sparkly collar. I bought it specifically for layering with no intention of wearing it by itself. It's beautiful, despite the fact that the size small fits me like a crop top. Hehe. Maybe one day I will show you the whole blouse. =)
Finally, I'm also featuring my new red elbow patch sweater from Chicnova. I have an identical sweater in mustard yellow, also. You can read a review of my shopping experience here. I just love the way orange and red look together, don't you? I couldn't resist the inclusion of the Ryu purple flower necklace for some whimsicality and additional color. I got the purple flower necklace on sale from Ruche.
I'm also proud to announce that I thrifted my new black/white Converse sneakers for just $12. There was a small, barely noticeable blemish on the front of the left shoe. Other than that, these babies were in pristine condition. They are men's size 8 (I'm a size 10.5) and they fit perfectly. Squee! <3
