I was actually pretty stoked when it rained. Usually, I'm not a fan of rain, unless I'm looking at it from indoors while sipping a hot beverage. ;P However, one welcome side effect of rainfall is a noticeable lack of pedestrians (and creepers!). Haha. Although, I chose to wear some really bright colors, I was confident that very few people would actually notice me as these photos were taken, due to the bad weather. Welllllllll, I was wrong. I had several cars slow down as they drove past me and one driver honked at me and said something unintelligible. I always forget about the mobile creepers. >_<
Gahhhhhhhh. Anyway. Haha. I just tried to ignore all the creepers and have a little fun. I really love this vintage yellow dress. I don't wear it nearly as often as I should. The little details in the fabric are rad and the unique buttons are really special. :3 On a day like this one, I felt that pairing it with a bright pink coat would be a fantastic idea. I always see black and grey on rainy days and I definitely stood out. :P
The super adorable socks are from my sponsor, Sock It To Me. I felt like the sky blue added a nice additional splash of color without being too off-putting. The print is so fun, too! I don't know if you can see clearly, but there are pugs, wiener dogs, tabby cats, etc. tumbling from rain clouds. Hehe. <3
