This is an outfit I wore last Friday, actually. My partner and I walked a few blocks to one of our favorite hangouts for drinks and good conversation. :D I decided to throw on a shirt over a dress and try like hell to make it look interesting. I hope I did OK! I wanted to wear a collared shirt underneath and/or my faux leather jacket or something, but then I would have utterly failed the Style Challenge. Haha. *Sigh* >_<
I still think it looks decent. Plus, I'm happy that I took the time to do a different hair style. I'm lazy.
The print on the shirt was faded when I got it. I kind of like that it was well worn by the previous owner. It's an awesome shirt and, given the print, I think the faded ink adds to its overall vintage vibe. The knots in my outfit are obvious, but if you were wondering where the spools reference came from in the title, you need not look any further than the cassette tapes. I've done my fair share of spool winding. ;D
